Grant's 3rd Birthday

Our little boy, well most people would not refer to him as little, turned 3 on Sunday! I cannot believe how big he is getting and how fast time has gone by. It really seems like only yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital (tear drop). We decided to keep it really simple this year and have a party at Pump It Up Jr., kids love it and it's a quick one and half hours of pure energy release! Grant was unsure about this whole birthday thing, and kept saying that is was not his birthday all weekend, and that he did not want to see his friends. However, once we arrived and he figured out what was going on, he quickly warmed up to the idea and had a blast!! He loved all his gifts, in fact they are now all over the floor in the family room and he will not let me put anything away.

The day started out with our traditional birthday breakfast...eggs and pancakes!

Grant refused to take the eye stickers off from the game the day before, and kept saying, "it's fine mom!"

Mr. Carter having a blast!! He was up at 4:00 this morning so he was tired!! I know this because he spent the night at our house, which meant I was up at 4:00!

It was really hard to get Grant to slow down for any good family pictures, but Jaxson did not mind!

Just had to throw this one in...Jaxson and his friend Nate are obsessed with Star Wars. Here they are setting up a battle scene yesterday, and this is only a portion of their collections!

Thanks to everyone who made Grant's Birthday such a blast and I know he will enjoy all his gifts for the many, many months of winter coming up!!
