Golf....or something like it!

On Monday I got the opportunity to play in a golf tournament with Nick. It was out at the Reserve, where we got married, and it was called Forks, Corks, and Wedges, just thought the name was super cute. Anyways, I have not played golf in over a year and it was three years before that, in fact I don't even have my clubs anymore. I lent them to a friend right after college, and needless to say I have yet to see them again. Little known fact about me, I played golf for two years in college....and I totally got burned out!! When Nick and I had been dating for about two years my dad invited him out with us for a round and he has been hooked ever since. I now, lovingly, refer to myself as a golf widow. This also may have contributed to my lack of enthusiasm towards the game. I can't lie, I cringe every time Nick tells me he is golfing because I know that means he will be gone all day, and he usually golf's on the weekends. So back to the story at hand, we played with my cousin Vanessa and her husband Ken, who are super cute newlyweds. My game started out a little rocky, but came around again after about nine holes. I have to admit I had a great time playing and it made me miss it a little. I really thought that it would be nice to have some girlfriends that liked to golf as well. It was very nice to spend the afternoon with Nick, as we usually don't get that much quality time during the week :-) Here are a couple pictures from our fun day:
