Mommy Playdate

Amongst my girlfriends from college I was the first one to have a baby, and until recently, he was the lone child! Now there are so many kids and babies, which could not make me happier!! Last Monday we organized a play date in the park to get all the kids together, and it was SO fun. It was amazing to see all the different ages and all the interaction the kids had with one another. It is going to be so fun to watch these kids grow up together and see how their friendships evolve. It is so amazing that all these kids have built in friends from birth. What a fun day we had!! Well to be honest it ended with a bit of a scare. As we were leaving Grant decided to ride his bike into the road when a car was coming. Like I had mentioned in an earlier post, he is not really scared of cars. It freaked me out so bad that I ran over to him and ripped him off his bike. I think it may have scared him more than me, but needless to say we had a very long talk about it on the way home. Now he seems a little more cautious, so I guess a little freak out went a long way!
