On Wednesday Nick and I went out to our alma mater, University of Portland, for an alumni wine tasting event. We could not have asked for a more perfect evening weather wise, and the gods aligned for babysitting so it could have rained for all we cared though!! We only got to stay for about an hour and half, but it was really nice to see some old friends, and see all the improvements that have been made to The Commons....where we ate freshman and sophomore year. I have to preface my pictures so that you may really comprehend the enormity of the changes that have been made. When we went to UP our food choices consisted of rice, a cereal turn-a-round, sandwiches, scary hot meal, and ice cream....and they wonder why freshman girls put on 15 lbs! The "atmosphere", if you can call it that, was very high school cafeteriaish with not a lot of decor. So to see all of this was shocking to say the least!

Hey not bitter or anything, just jealous!! It was a fun evening and we are very much looking forward to next year! Oh I forgot to mention the best part....Starbucks!!
