The Zoo

So one of our most favorite spots to go to all year round is the Portland Zoo. During the summer we are there at least two to three times a month, and with winter comes the Zoo Lights, one of my favorite Christmas traditions. Last Monday, with the weather being so nice, we decided we should try to get one last trip in while wearing shorts. Being that it is such a special place for us I decided it deserved it's own blog post.

This pretty much sums up Grant in one picture. Grant is obsessed with Spiderman, and I made the mistake of purchasing a costume for him. He now wears it pretty much everyday. I have now enforced the rule that he cannot wear it outside, but this picture was taken before the novelty of it all had worn off!

Jaxson was hoping to get a ride, but he is just too big now! It's funny, because I can barely get Grant to ride in it, and Jaxson would do anything to get a ride!

While we were there we saw that they were starting to put up the lights, which made me very excited for our next trip, which will include uggs and hot chocolate!!
